Class Description
Are you ready to become an escape room pro? In this online class, you'll learn awesome tricks to solve puzzles, from old-school riddles to cool tech challenges. We'll practice cracking codes, finding hidden clues, and thinking outside the box to beat any escape room. You'll even get to create your escape room adventure, join fun field trips to actual escape rooms in the DC, Maryland, and Virginia areas, and try out online escape experiences, too!

1. Teamwork: Escape rooms are all about collaboration. Be supportive and inclusive of all classmates.

2. Think Creatively: There's no such thing as a bad idea when solving puzzles. Share your thoughts freely!

3. Stay Engaged: Keep your video on and participate actively in discussions and virtual puzzle-solving.

4. Respect Time Limits: Practice working within time constraints like in actual escape rooms.

5. Learn from Mistakes: Not every solution will work, and that's okay. We learn by trying!

6. Have Fun: Remember, this is all about enjoying the thrill of problem-solving and discovery.

7. Be Present: Minimize distractions during class time to fully immerse yourself in the escape room experience.

About the Instructors
Tracie and Tyce Yorke are a dynamic mother-son duo who have conquered over 30 escape rooms together. Their passion for puzzle-solving and creative thinking has led them to share their expertise with young, aspiring escape artists. Tracie's educational background (15 years as a director, principal, and academic technology coach) and Tyce's youthful enthusiasm bring a perfect blend of experience and energy to the virtual classroom.
