Class Description
This course is a must-take for any American citizen, period, if you truly want to understand how to navigate the system you are a part of: the most real social studies course you could take. Uncover the true history of melanated people in this country, taking it from the compiled policy history on African American and Indigenous communities. Then, search to see those responsible for policies, and how they were voted in. Next, continue to explore current politicians’ policies and judges’ rulings, to see how they weigh on the “Progress-O-Meter” (moderate, left-leaning progressive, or conservative). This is the real social studies course they don't teach you in American public schools - but absolutely should if we want to truly get the system, we are each a part of.
