Class Description

A continuation of our accelerated Spanish cohort series, taking you through the origins of Latinamerican & Afro-Hispanic culture from the Mexica to Mexico to Central American countries, Spanish pronunciation mastery, translations, and sentence formation/structure (with a focus on various verb conjugations). As students stay committed to the process, we are now immersing into speaking and writing stories in Spanish. Students will continue to practice their accent and language acquisition on passages and solidify their foundations in Spanish conversation - as well as know WHAT'S UP with Ancient Central American origins and foundations: ) 

Class Skills Development 

This semester, we will continue to practice the present & command conjugations of Spanish and keep practicing all of the different conjugations we have been learning. We will also continue to practice speaking, writing & reading Spanish--and learning the real about Central American countries.

About the Instructor 

Preshona Ambri, M.Ed is a passionate, non-traditional educator & creative whose purpose and mission is to spread the stories of people of color on this planet. Combining many of her fields of practice, her Masters in Special Education, and B.A. in Media Cross-Cultural Hegemony with Spanish & International Studies Minors, she created the bilingual I Am Sun program, to prepare young students for both life and college-prep exams from a young age, while embracing perspectives, stories & histories of students of color.
